music collaboration app
It is always not easy to get the right people to jam and make music together, or even getting people to come together and play at the same time and place. Sadly, the lack of an easily accessible platform reduces the chances of talented people showing off their skills together making great music. Imagine the possibility if the solution to this problem is in your pocket.
RubberJam came as an idea to bring people who love to play music from all over the world together on a digital platform, allowing people to collaborate, form virtual bands and make great music easily, removing hindrance of time and location. It is a rapid music jamming tool, where users can record and upload short samples of instruments that they play. Users can also discover music samples uploaded by fellow users and contribute a track of their own to build on the existing track. This loop creates a dynamic two-way social layer to the app where user contributions generates value to each other.
Concept & prototype
I was responsible on designing the wireframes and the flow of using the app, from browsing music created by other user to recording and uploading a track. The PDF for the wireframes is available here.
